Every person’s therapeutic experience is a little different. Some of our clients choose to work with us for years, whereas others feel satisfied with their progress after just a few months. What’s important is that you are actively receiving the help you need. We never want people to feel “trapped” in therapy, and that’s why we won’t push an arbitrary timeline on your healing.

We can’t explain why your past therapy experience was a letdown, but we can tell you what to expect if you work with us! We use solution-focused methods to target your specific issues. While we can absolutely discuss how you feel or what you’re thinking, we also teach you to use coping skills for quieting racing thoughts, communicating more effectively, and regulating emotion, just to name a few.

This consult takes 15 minutes and is done over the phone with our client coordinator who can answer any questions you have about working with us. After your questions are answered, we can find a session time that works well with your schedule and get you started on the road to your recovery.
